These matrices are precisely machined and highly polished to ensure reproducible sectioning. Rat and mouse brain matrices are available. Coronal and sagittal sections at 1 mm intervals. All coronal brain matrices have an additional mid-line sagittal cut to aid in the separation of the left and right hemispheres. The mouse brain matrices can also be used on neonatal rat brains. Divisions are 1 mm apart.
